Melina Sadeghzadeh

Curator & Founder, Sarv Art London

Melina Sadeghzadeh is a London based curator and the founder of Sarv Art, a platform dedicated to bringing the work of Iranian artists to Western collectors and art lovers.

Melina's path spans two disciplines: a professional career in music with a BA in Piano Pedagogy from the Liceu Conservatori Superior de Música de Barcelona and a lifelong passion for visual art that eventually took centre stage. That passion brought her to the UK to complete an MA in Curating Collections and Heritage at the University of Brighton, giving her the academic grounding to do justice to the art she champions.

Sarv Art began with something personal. Melina's father is an Iranian artist whose work is rooted in the centuries old traditions of Calligraphy and poetry art forms of extraordinary depth and craft. Wanting to share his work, and the wider legacy of these traditions, with audiences who may never have encountered them, she created Sarv Art as a bridge between cultures.
