About the artist+
Einoddin Sadeghzadeh is a recipient of the Iranian National Committee of Artists’ First Order of Merit, a Grand Maestro and member of the Iranian Calligraphers Association, a member of the Iranian Painters Society, a jury member at international and domestic art contests and festivals, and the originator of the Tar application in Persian calligraphy.
He holds a PhD in Art from Rajaee University in Iran, alongside a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and a graduate degree in Illustration. He began working as a calligrapher, painter and graphic designer in 1984 and has since drawn on a wide spectrum of techniques in his practice.
With countless solo and group exhibitions in Iran and overseas, Sadeghzadeh has attracted a devoted following to his unique body of work. Many of his pieces have been presented and sold at prominent auctions, and works are on permanent display in the United Nations Art Collection and Malaysia’s Islamic Arts Museum, among others. He has presided as a judge over numerous domestic and international art contests, and is currently a faculty member and professor at Rajaee University.
