About the artist+
Born in Tehran in 1999, Melika Sadeghzadeh is an Iranian visual artist based in Montpellier, where she graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts (MO.CO. Esba). Working across sculpture, installation, video and drawing, she gives form to the quiet violence carried by everyday domestic objects — keys, drawers, door handles — as a way of producing memory against forgetting. Winner of the 2026 Léon Roux Prize, Académie des Beaux-Arts, Paris.
